On Saturday, July 6th, Dr. Bill Threlkeld, 84, stepped out into eternity to be with God.  Bill was husband to his wife of many years, Anne Barnette Threlkeld; father to his three daughters and their husbands: Debra Threlkeld, Patty & Al Dorn, and Joy & Joe Strassel; and spiritual father and brother to hundreds of Christians throughout the world. 

 Pages from his life were filled with stories of theSaharaDesertto trips down dusty roads inAfrica, from flying jets in the Air Force to fly-fishing inColorado, from serving others to serving the God he loved. His legacy will continue to live on in the people he touched and changed.  On the last page of his life, it simply reads, "Well done, good and faithful servant”.

 The family and invited guests will lay this honorable man to rest with full military honors at the State VA Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC, on Friday, July 11th at 2:00.

The next day, his life will be celebrated at the First Alliance Church of Hendersonville, NC, on Saturday, July 12th at 2:00.
