The Life of Billy

December 3, 2015

"William "Bill" Scot Brown left this life, far too soon, for journeys unknown. On the morning of November 5th, 2015, Bill lost his battle with cancer. He was 58. Legend has it that this was the first and only fight Bill ever lost! He lived a very "colorful" life...
Bill was born in Glendale, CA on April 8th, 1957, the first child of Bonnie (Simons) and Bud Brown. He lived in Eagle Rock, South Pasadena, Glendale, Tujunga, Lake L.A., but most prominently in Santa Clarita, where he attended Sierra Vista Jr High, and Canyon High School (class of 1975).
Bill enjoyed fast cars, "fast" women, partying, rock n roll, inventing and tinkering. He loved collecting and playing guitars- accumulating over 15 electric and acoustic models that he proudly displayed on his walls.
Bill was a master electrician, starting out as a helper for his dad, in the family business Budd Electric, while still in high school. Not only was he one of the best in the business, he was also the fastest (Bill liked doing EVERYTHING fast!).
Bill never married, but enjoyed the opposite sex! He never had children (that any one knows of, at least!), but treated his neice and nephews as his own, and loved them dearly. He was a great uncle- which he literally became earlier this year, with the birth of his great-neice!
Bill was preceded in transition by his father Wallace "Bud" Brown and uncle Dick Panion. He is deeply missed, and loved eternally, by his parents Bonnie and Don Simons, brother Terry (and Tia), sisters Lora and Arleen, nephews Terry II, Ted, and Tim, neice Tara (and Nick), great-neice Kori-Lynn, and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, December 6th, at 2:00 PM, at the Center  for Spiritual Living- Glendale, 2001 Cañada Blvd, Glendale Ca 91208 (corner of Hillside and Cañada Blvd)."
