Grandpa, thank you for being the man you were, for making me who I am today, and for all the things in between.
I will always remember waking up to the smell of your famous sandollar shaped pancakes on Sunday mornings after we would beg to sleep over grandma and grandpas house. I will never forget the countless card games and rounds of checkers you would play with me, each and every time, with the biggest smile on your face. Summers would not have been the same without our late night ice cream runs to Salty's and all the memories we shared squished in our little bungalow by the sea. You taught me to be kind and gentle but also also head strong and to never give up.
Thank you for teaching me that it is the little things in life we must cherish. Thank you for teaching me to not be afraid to take the road less traveled on. Thank you for showing me to always keep my head up because there is a brighter side to every situation. And thank you for always making me feel beautiful inside and out.
You touched the lives of so many and you will forever carry on in our hearts. I will love you always Grandpa and may you Rest In Peace
