William "Bud" Joseph Colfer, Sr. passed away on Saturday March 12, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center from heart complications. He was 75 years old and is survived by his wife Cecelia, his children Buddy Jr., Jason and Angela, his grandchildren Kevin, Justin, Carli, Dane, Maddox, and Franchesca. He is also survived by his sister Marie Pilla the last surviving of 9 children. Bud was predeceased by his daughter, Celia Ruiz.

Bud was born January 30, 1947 in Newark, NJ to William "Bud" and Marie Colfer. He retired in 2006 from sprinkler fitters local 696 where he owned several fire protection companies and later ran work for other companies. He later stayed busy working part time for The Home Depot. Bud was a reliable pillar of his family, always there to lend help and support. Loyalty to family was paramount to him. Bud loved giving time to the community as well, spending many years as President and coach of little league baseball, being a cub scout master for the local troop 152 and volunteering his time with the American Red Cross traveling the country as part of a disaster relief team. He will be missed greatly and remembered fondly.
