William 'Bill' Terhune, 82, of Deep Creek passed away October 25, 2011. 

He was born in Clifton, New Jersey.  As a very young man he served in the United States Navy and went on to serve as a Military Policeman with the United States Army during the Korean War.  After college in New Jersey, he worked many years in contract sales in the trucking industry. 

Upon retirement in 1992, Bill and his late wife, Ann, moved from Pompton Lakes, NJ to Port Charlotte, FL. He was preceded in death in 1999 by his wife of 39 years. 

He made many friends and enjoyed many years fishing at his favorite spot in Ponce de Leon Park. 

He is much loved and greatly missed by his wife of 11 years, Susan; by his daughter Sue (Ross) Sorenson, North Port; son Bill (Shelly )Terhune Jr, Texas; step-sons Scott and Ken; 9 grandchildren, KellyAnn, Mike, Bryan, Ryan, Shannon, Nick, Dylan, Jillian and Jackson. 

Services are private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bill's name to the New Life Dream Center, 2150 Collier Ave. Suite H, Fort Myers, FL 33901
