Billy Fry was my first friend I made in 1967 in Pasadena Texas when we moved there from Austin Tx. I spoke with him on the phone a few times after he moved to Hawaii. I loved him like a brother I wish I would’ve stayed in touch! We all get busy with our lives and time just flies by! My sincere condolences to his family I am so sorry for your loss. Chriss Lisa and Benjamin new me as Gene I can’t remember the other sisters name, I suffered a massive head injury in 1981 and I’m looking for old friends. Debbie now I remember!

Dear Dad,

I really miss you , I wish that you could read this somehow . I miss all the funny things that you would say out of nowhere and the jokes that you'd make up , I wish that we got to go fishing together like you always wanted to,I know that it would have meant a lot to you but I got caught up with life and everything else . I'm really glad that you got to meet Kailea and Deborah . I love you so much and I never really showed it to you like I should have , and I regret that . But I can't change it , I just want you to know that I do care about you and not a day goes by that I don't think of you , I'm really gonna miss you and I'm really proud that I'm your son . Deborah and kailea miss you too ! I know that there is no more pain for you anymore and I hope we get to meet again , I love you.

Billy may not have made all of the best decisions, but he loved his Family and his Family loved him very much. His Dad and I were very blessed to have Billy in our lives and at our wedding, and he will be dearly missed and our thoughts are with his Family in Hawaii during this trying time. Billy and his Dad had that bond that nothing and no one could break and his Dad's eyes use to light up everytime he would talk about Billy and when he would call during Birthdays and Holidays. We are so proud of the Man Billy became and the life he lived. Truly Missed!

Love,

Rosie N. Fry (Mom Fry)

I remember being young and Billy telling me stories of how when I was a Baby he used to take me to Busch Gardens to pick up the chicks!! Lol... Classic Billy, I have alot of great memories of my Brother and I will hold onto those for as long as I can. I know there is not enough stories in the world to bring him back, but life is about the memories and Billy had some memories for sure... Besides my Pops has got him now and he will never let him go.... Till we meet again Bro.........

Memorial service at Hawaiian Memorial Park, Kaneohe, HI. Elder Joshua Kalua (nephew), presiding  over the service. Shawnna Kamanu (niece) read the eulogy.          Song: "He"lol Find A Way" sung by Sabrina Franks (church family, Grace Christian Church). Song: "Been Through Enough" sung by Elizabeth "Honey" Kamano (niece). Hula (dance): "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" sung by Kahu Vince Colleado (nephew) and  accompanied by Isaac "Sonny" Kalua (nephew) on guitar, hula performed by Rhonda Higa and Nalani Macariola (church family).  Preacher: Joshua Kalua (nephew). Hula: "He Lives": performed by (left to right): Moana Kalua (niece), Kailani Kalua (niece), Miriam Fry (Billy's daughter), Mavis Kamanu (niece), and Deborah Fry (Billy Jr's wife). This song was the first song that Miriam learned and danced to at one of our Resurrection Sunday Service at Grace Redemption Ministry.  That was a very special day in Billy's life because he had bragging rights about having a daughter that could dance hula. He preserved that day on camera! This song was much more special on this night because I knew in my heart that "ALL IS WELL" with Billy's soul and when he closed his eyes here on earth, he woke up in God's presence!!! WOW! We all can have the same hope and all because our Jesus- "HE LIVES!!!" I would like to say thank you Chris for giving us a little background of Bill's upbringing. I got a lot of awesome feedback from my family about how much they enjoyed what you had said. Bill never spoke about this to me or my children. Thank you!

October 2014, Billy had a great time visiting with his sister Jo in Texas. Enjoyed fishing off of her pier, and watching the deer that would be literally walking around her property!
