Mr. Willie C. Denson was born March 28, 1934 in Chambers County, AL to the parentage of the late Allen and Susie Pearl Trimble Denson. He departed this life on July 27, 2011 at Lanier Health Service, Valley, AL.

Accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior, Willie united the North 13th Avenue Church of Christ, Lanett, AL.

Willie was a US Army veteran.

He was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Detroit, MI, as a security guard with over 25 years of service.

Willie will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Luvernia Denson, Lanett, AL; Children, Jason(Edith) Denson, Lakia Denson, Charity (Darius)Kyser, Christian(Kunpa)Harris, Diane(Ovey)Keeling, Detroit, MI; James Spence, Christopher Spence, Tammy Spence, Hope Spence, Jessica Spence, Lanett, AL; Sundray Spence, Atlanta, GA and Dawn(Derrick)Wingate, Lawrenceville, GA, his mother, Alice M. Denson, Lanett, AL; one brother, Joseph(Jacqueline)Denson, Lanett, AL; four sisters, Dorothy Merritt, Mamie Pennington, Mary(Lonnie)Owensby, Lanett, AL and Christine(Floyd)Johnson, Freeport, NY; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relative friends.

I often think about my father and all the things i learned from him threw out my life and id have to say my most valued lesson is the value of family and how important it's to always be there for each other daddy i miss you and wish we could have had more time together i love you old man  (Jason)
