Mr. Willie Lee Kinnel was born August 23,1948 to the late Willie Ivory Kinnel and Caruther Edward’s Kinnel in Tunica, Ms. To all that knew him, he was affectionately known as “uncle Willie (Mr.Hello). He was a graduate of Rosa Fort High School Class of 1967.
He confessed to Christ at an early age at Free Grace Baptist Church in Tunica, Ms and later moved his membership to Valley Grove M.B.C. Dayton, OH. He retired from Troy Laminating after 42years!
Willie also united in Holy matrimony to Melvinor Phipps. To this union four children were born Vanessa (Jack) Crawford, La’Keith, Shalisa. One additional son Walter Scott.
Willie departed earth side on October 17,2023 at Hospice. He is preceeded in death by one daughter She’Ronda and 10 brother and sisters. He was the last brother/ uncle to the KINNEL FAMILY.
He leaves to cherish loving memories with wife Melvinor, grandchildren Chantelle,Leah, Ke’Nona, Kei’Era, Ja’Keith,Shamare, Julian,Tye’Juan,Ashlyn,Lovely and Legacy. Four Great Grandchildren, Aubrey, Keylaya, Keylon, and Kingston. Sisters Ora Mae, Le’Vary of Tunica, MS. Maxine Locke, Troy, OH, and Leola Miller, Jackson, MI. Special friends Malcolm and the Weaver crew, Jerry Griffin, Vivian and Ronnie Duncan, and Walker family. A host of special nieces and nephews.
