Mr. Willie F. Peters, the son of the late Willie Brown and the late Louise Peters, was born November 14, 1949 in Troup County, GA. He departed this life on Monday, September 29, 2014 at this residence in West Point, GA.

“Sonny”, as he was known to most, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with the New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a product of the West Point School System and a member of the 1967 class of Harrison High School.

Sonny was retired from Cherrydale Candy Factory, Allentown, PA, where he worked for many years.

He enjoyed playing bingo and dancing. His hobbies included reading and fishing.

Sonny was preceded in death a sister, Elizabeth P. Daniels; a brother, Lee Grant Peters and a nephew, Craig Peters

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: three loving and devoted daughters, Andrea(Rory) Buckhanon, Nadia(Laron) Mathis and Theresa Davidson, West Point, GA; one sister, Frances Bledsoe, Allentown, PA; two brothers, Charles Darden, Carter Lee, West Point, GA; one sister-in-law, Mary Phine Peters Potts, West Point, GA; two nieces, Alazater Peters, West Point, GA; Sylvia Morton, Allentown, PA; 1 nephew, George Daniels, Birmingham, AL; four grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, special friends, Sharon Davidson, Betty Reed, West Point, GA and Peggy Johnson, Allentown, PA; and a host of other relatives and friends
