Mr. Willie (Norman) Shockley, Jr., 81, died at Lanier Nursing Home on Monday, December 12, 2011. He was born Tuesday, November 11, 1930.

Memorial services will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, West Point, Georgia, on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 2:00 Pm EST.

Mr. Shockley is survived by his wife, Blythe (Bea) Shockley; three sons, Raymond (Cherie) Shockley, Norman Glenn Shockley and Warner Jeff Shockley; one grandson, Raymond Tony (Lindsey) Shockley; one granddaughter, Tiffany (Coleman) Reese; two great grandsons, Dylan Reese and Charles Anderson Shockley; two great granddaughters, Madison Reese and Anna Elizabeth Shockley; one step daughter, Deborah (Jeff) Whaley; one step son, Charlie (Alice) Parker III; one step grandson, Gregory Whaley.

In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted in his memory to St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Words can not express the sorrow we feel for your lost. But, GOD word can & will bring us comfort. The promises at Acts 24:15, John 5:28, Psalms 37:9-11,29 & Rev. 21:3,4 brings us hope. And it allows us to continue to endure just a little while longer.

Our family would like to offer our sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Words cannot take away the pain you feel during this difficult time.
