A former resident of Columbus, Mr. Walton was born in Upatoi, GA, the son of the late Willie, sr. and Annie Davis Green. He was a member of the Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, and was retired from the City of Detroit as a Civil Engineer.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mrs. Juanita Gray Walton, and the mother of his children, Mrs. Mable Alexander Walton.
Surviving his departure with cherished memories, include: his daughter, Jacqueline Gilliard of Philadelphia, PA; a son, Larry Walton of Columbus, GA; loving grandchildren, Larry Walton, Jr., LaDawne Walton and William Gilliard,III; two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
