Wilma and Tom lived in a house in the Capitol hill area of Denver in 1953.  It was a large and very nice old brick house and the whole family was invited to Christmas dinner.  Grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, and all the children were invited to the house.  It was quite an undertaking as there were a lot of people.  Something reminisent of a large card table was set up for all the children to eat on.  Before the meal started, the card table colapsed and all the food for the children went on the floor and was ruined.  Needless to say, there was panic and all the children were screaming and crying.  Wilma was easy going and calm and took charge to divide the remaing food to share with the children.  This is how I remember Wilma as being calm and loving.  I was 9 years old.  Bless you Wilma
