Well, dear sweet Mother.  Here I am am, just about 8 years later. I still say "Mommy" I need you, I miss you.  It reminds me how my own children need my prayers and love as I relied on yours!

I wish I could say I have been as strong and steadfast a woman as you, but I fall far short.  I am always so grateful to God for you and the family you raised me in. You left me with wonderful sisters and brothers blessed by your deep unselfish love, giving up everything for your children, and longing for each of us to know you above all.

My treasure will to someday hug you tightly in Heaven God Lord willing!!!!

Happy Birthday Mommy! I miss you always! All my love!

My family has known Wilma for many years. She had a smile that could brighten any- ones day. She was a very kind, gentle soul and it was very great to be around her. I enjoyed the church dinners, and other gatherings with the church. We all were like family and that is the way God wanted it. She will be a blessing to God, and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She was a woman who would make friends with everyone she’d meet. She was loving, and kind, and generous. She was a woman who only wanted the best for her children, and did EVERYTHING in her power to make that happen. She was, and is, my mother-in-law. You know, it’s sort of a sitcom joke that every wife gets annoyed by her mother-in-law, but what I wouldn’t give to hug her again just one more time. Rest in peace, and thank you for everything you’ve done. You truly left the world a better place than you found it. Until we meet again... —

My first memory

September 26, 2014

My beautiful loving mother, a most precious memory has been with me since I was a little toddler.  I can't imagine how young, but I know I was small enough to nap upon her chest.  I remember the feel of her gentle breathing and the rise and fall as I rested snuggled and comforted in her arms.  My earliest memory, so sweet and perfect.  Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing me with such a loving mother and such a sweet memory.

Oh, so many more moments like that throughout my whole life.  She was always loving, warm, encouraging, and comforting.  I could climb into her lap, or sit close, or call no matter how big I got and always find love and comfort.
