Maimmie i know how much you loved your flower so i think i inherited your passion for flowers. It gives me great joy and pleasure to do the things i love to do most. When i am in the flower garden i think of, if you were here how happy you would be to see how well the front yard is looking. I remember how much the people who whilst driving and walking by, would stop and admire your flowers by the roadside. Well guess what? they are still doing it and letting me know that i have been keeping up your trademark. Thanks to God and you mammie. For the event of all souls day imagine all the flowers i put on your grave came from my flower garden at home and they looked so pretty on your grave. SHE HAD LOTS OF ENERGY ONE WOULD SAY FOR HER AGE, THERE WAS NEVER A DULL MOMENT WITH HER BEING AROUND YOU, SHE WAS A MOTHER WHO WANTED EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOOD FOR HER CHILDREN, SHE LOVED HER FAMILY TO THE END AND WAS ALWAY PROTECTING US EVERY CHANCE SHE GOT. YOU KNOW THE LAST CONVERSATION I HAD WITH HER WAS" MAMIE YOU DOH TIRED WORK FROM SUNDAY TO SUNDAY YOU WORKING, WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO TIE YOU ON THE BED IN ORDER FOR YOU TO REST ?AT THE TIME SHE HAD A PALE OF CLOTHES GOING TO WASH AND DID NOT TAKE ME ON AT ALL ,SHE JUST GO ABOUT HER BUSINESS. SHE WAS THE TYPE TO ALWAY GIVING SOMEONE SOME SOUND ADVICE ESPECIALLY THE YOUNGER GENERATION WHO LOVED HER SO MUCH. THEY WOULD ALWAYS LISTEN TO HER AND MAKE JOKES WITH HER. ALWAY GIVING SOMEBODY SOMETHING. SHE WAS THE TYPE WHO LIKED TO SHARE WHATEVER SHE HAD WITH THE LESS FORTUNATE. SHE WAS EASY GOING, LOVING, KINDHEARTED AMOUNG OTHER THINGS. HER FAVOURITE THING LATELY WAS GETTING ON HER BUS DRIVERS (THEY ALL LOVED HER DEARLY) BUS AND PLAYING CONDUCTOR "LOL" THAT LADY WAS NOT AN EASY COOKIE TO DEAL WITH AND WHEN SHE MADE UP HER MIND TO DO SOMETHING NOTHING OR NOBODY COULD STOP HER. SHE WAS KNOWN ALL OVER THE TOWN FOR SELLING HER DELICIOUS BREADNUT HA HAHA. MAMIE WAS A SPECIAL MOTHER. will continue next time on the thing she loved most after jesus and her family. hi mammie just in the next 2 months you will be 3yrs away from us and your legend is still living in our hearts so very much. you know that everyone still talks about you as though you are still alive. that is so wonderful and i love talking about you because it brings joy and peace to my life though sometime i feel sad that you are away. hey i do not have to tell you what time it is because everyone is seeing you on the television, shaking your body to the beat of the music on carnival day. we always look forward to that moment. Mammie loved flowers very much. It was her habit to always plant her flowers and yes my dear sell them too. Give her room when she took those plants and hopped on the bus and away she gone to get it to the customers in roseau.
That day was a day, we the immidiate family will never forget and looking at the beautiful flower on her grave, made us very happy to know that she got her wish. I did not want too many people helping with the wreath making so my neighbour and I stayed up very late the night before her burial, and made a few very special ones. One thing we are happy about is the fact ,that she always got her flowers whilst she was alive, We saw to that during special events like mother's day, birthdays, christmas etc and when glenda variety store use to order flowers, every weekend that was a treat for her till they stopped ordering.
When it was time to put the flowers on the grave we arranged the flowers very nicely as you can see and we all felt very happy to know that her grave was meant to be covered with lot of lovely flowers as she had love her plants.
MAMMIE HAD A VERY GOOD SEND OFF TO MEET HER MAKER. WINNIE YOU DESERVED EVERY BIT OF IT. EVEN IN DEATH YOU MADE YOUR MARK OF POPULARITY. MAMIE ALWAYS USE TO SAY TO US THAT SHE IS POPULAR AND WE REALLY SAW AND BELIEVED ON THE DAY OF HER FUNERAL. MAY YOU CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE.

When this little thinned bone lady Winnie Isidore past away, the entire village was in shocked. she was a wonderful person who was loved by every man woman and child. she was the type of person who would just meet you for a second and you would think that this individual knew you for years. she liked to laugh and gives lot of jokes. If you were sad here goes winnie to get that glow of sadness off your face.
The things she loved to do was taking care of her plants,cooking breadnut and going all over the village of mahaut and Roseau (city) to sell to her costomers who liked the way she prepared it, keeping a clean house and mind you do not venture in her bongalo as she would call it(house) 'lol' she had many bus drivers whom she called her husbands, who love to take her for a drive for the whole day and she had the entire bus filled with customers laughing away, I do not know what they saw in her but whatever it was it was special. Her two most favorite things in life was to look forward to carnival and always going to the photo studio to take a photo of herself and also with her grandchildren.
I must say inspite of everything she lived a happy and full life and alway working without stopping and had lots of love for her family. That fatefull sunday she spent the last moments sitting in the neighbour's yard with her last son eating pelau and laughing away.
