Woody had a remarkable, off beat sense of humor that I so enjoyed when talking with him at Mudge Pond or a Hotchkiss Pool.
He always seemed to have a story brewing in his mind; a kind of distant look in his eye as if he were writing the lead and then re-writing it.

It takes courage to be a writer, courage to be a father and courage to battle cancer, from my perspective he exhibited remarkable courage in all aspects of his life, and set an example of what it means to be human. Your presence will be missed Woody....our deepest sympathy to Cynthia and Kate.  Lynn and Carl

Cyn, so sorry for your's and your family loss. I cannot imagine the pain and the darkness you all are experiencing now. I chose this song since you had mentioned a poem with the same. I am sorry to say I only met your hubby a few times over the many years, beginning with our love for Girl Scouts about 20+ years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find him visiting you when you least expect it to remind you of the loved you will always have toward one another. Peace to you and your family. God Bless you all.
