Wyatt,
You were such an amazing kid with a super bright smile. You were there for me through one of the hardest times in my life, and I don't think I would have made it without you. You made Mr. McKinney the only class I looked forward too my junior year.
You were always cracking jokes and making everybody smile even on our bad days.
We were never super close friends, but you were always a very good friend to me. Your passing has rocked this whole town and nobody will ever be the same again.
This world is a little more dull, and a little more sad without you in it. We're all still trying to manage with this horrible loss.
Nobody will ever move on, they'll just learn how to handle it better. Eventually we'll stop crying because we miss you, and start crying because it's not too long until we see you again.

wyatt, you will forever be my grunt boy, I pray you knew how much I loved you. you always made me smile and laugh. I will never forget your cheeks turning a little red when I would tease you about the auto book I got mom and you heard the certain things. you loved claire (cashew) and lyla with all your big sweet heart. you always wanted to make sure they were safe. thank you for all the joy you gave to all of us, you are a true hero that had a halo but now you have wings. I will always love and miss you. I will charish all of my memories of you. fly high my grunt boy.

Wyatt was a true goofball.
He would've told you exactly what he thought, and made you laugh by one look on his face.
Honestly, the news of his loss still hasn't hit me yet, but I hope all of us can let his memory live on through our love of him & love of others. I hope losing him brings peace that we got to love his life, if only for a glance of time. I grew up fishing just like him, and I'll never look at nature or water the same again. Officer Saylor, we salute you. We all miss you and I hope you are all looking down on us with that big ole grin of yours.

Unbelievable loss

- We met Wyatt as a lifeguard. We somehow got into a pattern of talking to Wyatt the ENTIRE 3 hours of our workout. Multiply that times 3 visits a week and we got to know each other really well. What I took away from our talks was how much he loved his family, how much he loved his truck, how much he loved his life. I loved singing during my workout and Wyatt always encouraged me. He told me how much he loved singing. I tried to get a duet going but he said "Only in the shower". He told us about building a swimming pool in his truck and getting pulled over with it, he told us about hunting with his brother, He talked about his mom and dad and sister and brother endlessley. Meri had a close call while learning to drive. We looked up and he was there. He made sure we were all good before he left. He told Meri he would go with her Sky Diving. He said he was not a bit afraid. I thought he would always be there. Such a good kid. I looked forward to seeing him realize his dreams in law enforcement. I really looked forward to seeing him grow in life. Incredible beautiful smile. I can't stop crying. Such a beautiful soul has left this world. We will see you in Heaven Wyatt.
