雪峰，人如其名，高風亮節。
少了你，世間少了一道陽光。
祝禱你所在之處，晴光亮雪，不再有陰暗的角落，
永遠有潔白的光雪相映，
伴你。
Xuefeng left this world with great hope and promise, thinking about completing his PhD on emotion and metaphor, anticipating an exciting and fruitful research visit to Europe (Groningen), and celebrating the publication of his most recent research* at LREC, the world’s leading conference on language resources and language technology. Without COVID-19 lockdown, he would have been sharing his exciting academic discussion at LREC, as well as his joy of travelling Marseille and Provence (probably with some friends from our lab and elsewhere). Let’s not remember Xuefeng as just another soul we lost among all tragedies in the year of COVID-19. Let’s remember his smiles and his always warm and helpful manner, like warming sunshine on the pure white snow peak.
