Gentle Yew! each time I think of you it was always like yesterday when we had our office next to each other in Teck Coal!!. Its unbelievably 8 years now since your precious life was suddenly snuffed off by a careless driver.

I believe you will be in a more comfortable place now resting in the bosom of our God and our Lord Jesus Christ! The God I used to speak to you about in those days. You showed interest in Him and I know He will not forget you.
May you continue to rest in perfect peace!! you were a very jolly good fellow! You loved and appreciated life and you never discriminated anyone.

Hey buddy, was just thinking about you as I do from time to time. I'm not sure why I write, I'm not one for the afterlife, I guess I hope it matters to your family that they're not the only ones who remember you. Rest easy.

I likely knew Yew-Loong the very least (considering all who've left messages here). Yew-Loong and I worked on three work related projects since the spring of 2011. We shared meals and stories about family and technology. What I remember most is the change in his demeanor when he spoke of his children. He spoke fondly and glowed with pride.

Yew Loong and I worked together for the last 3 years, we traveled together a number of times. Shared food, laughter and taste in cars, I enjoyed working with and spending time with Yew Loong, I am very sorry to hear that he is no longer with us. I will always remember his easy infectuous smile and his quite intencity. I offer my condolences and my friendship to his family, Bruce.

The way he was...

Shared by Diana Quan on October 28, 2011

My deepest condolence to Yew-Loong's family.  I was very shocked and sad when I heard the news.  It is a terrible tragedy.  I worked with Yew-Loong for only a few short months but I will remember him.  Only time will lessen the pain (I lost my dad last year so I understand).  Always remember him the way he was.

I am a member of the Malaysian Singapore Brunei Community Association in Calgary. I never had the opportunity to meet Yew Loong but I have heard of him and his family through a colleague of mine whose daughter Stephanie is a good friend of Natasha.

At the Service yesterday morning I felt so proud of him and for his family when guest speakers gave their eulogies.

Malaysia and his adopted country Canada has lost a great son.

May his soul Rest in Peace and his memory lives on in our hearts.

Nicholas, you are now the Captain and I am sure dad will be proud of you.

Finally, I wish to thank his colleagues for their presence and support. Canada is a great country for we Malaysians who immigrated here for better opportunities for our families.

Dearest One.

For my uncle, knowledge is power. Many useful advisement given to be a hardworking person to achieve more. Meanwhile, he often mentioned that he was not that brilliant but hardworking and never give up. By the way, he always study hard, play hard and work hard. Another thing I noticed is while playing time, he was willing to play crazily without burden. However, the 'wrinkle' appear while seriously busy doing something.

I like his 'bedtime story' as sometimes he phoned over at night.  Shared some of his story about his childhood, schooling .... Still, they are still freshly bear in my mind as it was too interesting and meaningful. Without you, my previous life might not be that interesting and wonderful. So, I will always miss you. Although I will never know what will happening in the future, no matter how hard is it, I believe I could handle it as you had been passed many hard things that was much harder.                                                                                                         ~One whom is good will always in our mind although he was not around anymore. ~

Appreciate it.                                                                                                        Thanks for being that good and such a great person!!!

 We will always miss you!!
