I remember Baba, a kind spirited gentleman, he was married to Aunty Tamar related to Baba Daniel Ankamah (Ne Yagan's husband) our next door neighbour in Lawishi Billiri. I remember with nostalgia that Baba Daniel was a blacksmith and we used to visit and help him blow the bellows. They were our good family friends and neighbours indeed. Baba Yusuf has transited to Life. May His Gentle Soul Continue to Rest in Perfect Peace With Our Lord!!!

Continue to rest on Baba, may God fill the vacuum baba hasbleft

No single day is better without you Baba. But today, after seven years, I remember and nurture this sweet-bitter feeling as one of your favorite songs keeps ringing in my mind and lips:
"Alhamdu ga Allah don Ɗansa, Yesu.
Ya ba da jininsa domin fansarmu,
Amma dai ya tashi, ya koma Sammai.
Ya kan ba da Ruhu, da yawan kyautai".
Baba, you, too, have gone home, back to your Lord and Saviour.

He left remarkable and indelible footprints. Forever missed, but this is our comfort and hope, that in the sweet by and by, we shall meet on that beautiful shore to part no more.

It's hard to believe it's been seven years!

On this day seven years ago, our beloved father, Baba Yusufu Kuna, moved to Heaven at age 78 in Billiri. While we are comforted by knowing exactly where he is, we still have a hollowness that will be with us until we see him again in our Father’s House. For all of you, like us, who have an empty chair at the table or the living room, join us as we cling to God’s great mercy that has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…(1 Peter 1:3),

This life is not all there is! Praise God! Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning! (Psalm 126:5-6).”

It is three years today , you took flight to mansions bright across the sea.
Where loved ones wait and crowns are given

You lived life well, and set an example for us to emulate and admire. But most of all You knew Christ as your Savior and Lord.

My Dad believed, and led us to know and believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today as I remember you Baba, I am grateful that you have passed from death to life and you are enjoying eternal rest with your Lord and redeemer. Looking forward to joining you when my time on transit is over.

You have fought an excellent fight, you have finished your race, and have kept your faith in Jesus. Continue to rest in peace dad!
