firstly mum was a great cook, she loved to make bread, and her ginger crunch was great too for morning or afternoon tea.  she always had the crock pot on and the kettle as soon as you arrived.

I loved her coffee. and miss her laughter.

Nana always made the birthday cakes in our family.  if you  have a photo please post it of your cake. She loved a good party.

she loved her garden, her roses, vegies, peonies, daffidols, fruit trees, always in her garden...just before she died she grew me a heep of fruit trees from pips, they are going in motu.

Mum made beautiful porclain dolls.  Mine is a replica of my wedding dress. it is beautiful and a lot of time and love has gone into her.

she was very creative.  And she passed many gifts to me.

She always gave the best hugs no matter what.

Mums favourite china was old country roses.
