The daughter of the late Emmett and Ada Bush Dozier, Mrs. Pyatt was a Columbus native and a 1972 graduate of Baker High School. She was employed with Kendrick Pecan Company for many years. She was preceded in death by a son, Jonas Pyatt, Jr. and a sister, Ethel Clay.

Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: her sons, Andre D. Pyatt (Eboni), Michael A. Pyatt, Sr.(Demetria) and Brian Pyatt; four beloved grandchildren, Andre Banks, Jalen Pyatt, Trinya Pyatt, and Michael A. Pyatt, Jr.;a brother, Jackie Dozier; two sisters, Emma Brooks and Dianne Golden (Joseph);the father of her children, Jonas Pyatt, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
