Reflections

January 13, 2013

Amos Wesley Lincoln Jr. was born January 12, 1966 in Lynwood, California. He was the second born of four children.  He attended La Tijera Elementary School, Crozier Middle School, and graduated from Inglewood High School in 1983.

In 1983, Amos met the love of his life Monique and they became high school sweethearts.  Amos and Monique were married in 1998 and shared fifteen years of marriage filled with laughter, happiness, and love.

Amos accepted Christ under the leadership of  William Monroe Campbell and was baptized at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, in Los Angeles, CA in 2001. Amos owned and operated a towing service for many years until illness prevented him from doing so.  As you all know Amos loved Jesus Christ most, low riders, and motorcycles.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. He lived comfortably until the Lord called him home on January 11, 2013.

Preceding him in death his father (Amos Wesley Lincoln Sr.) and loving Mother (Audrey G. Rainey).  He leaves to mourn, his wife Monique and his sons Davon and Amon, and daughter Breanna. Two grandsons: Avery Davis and Dayjon Lincoln. His three sisters Robbin (Kevin) Ballard; Johnetta Rainey (Pierre Nance);  Wendy (Robert) Taylor; one brother, Ambrose Lincoln; And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Amos touched all of our lives and was much loved by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
