This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Andy Figures, 53, born on June 3, 1959 and passed away on February 4, 2013. Andy fought his illness with great courage and determination, never complaining.
Our rock has gone.
We will remember him with love and great pride forever.
When Andy was at school he used to write short stories. At one point he wanted to be a journalist.
He always wished he could write a book and so started about 15 years ago. Sadly, it didn't come to anything.
In the last few years of his life Andy achieved his lifetime accomplishment and finished his very 1st book. He was even on the 3rd chapter of his next one when he left us.
In memory of Andy, we are now taking Andy's book to see if we can get it published. If not we will still get several copies made in memory of Andy.
A man full of so many hidden talents.
We were and still are very proud of him.
