Mrs. Anita Gayle Leonard was born in Tuskegee, Alabama to Mr. Robert Williams, Jr., and Larine Hawkins. She was married to Rev. Mark Leonard.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Union #1 Baptist Church in Titus, Alabama where she served faithfully.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Fleeting.

Mrs. Anita Gayle Leonard was called rest on March 4, 2012 at Columbus Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a husband, Rev. Mark Leonard. Three daughters: LaCresha Leonard, Shatera Leonard and Amelia Leonard, all of Columbus, GA. Three grandchildren: La'Christle Whetstone, Rachel Buchanan and Jamiah Wong. Father and mother, Mr. Robert Williams, Jr. and Larine Hawkins. Nine sisters: Elizabeth (David) Leonard, OH; Eula Mae Lory, Montgomery, AL; Debra (Ronald) Sinclair, Millbrook, AL; Marcia Anthony; Melissa (Willie) Marlowe, Gloria (Willie) White; Jennifer Williams; Christy (James) Williams, Evelyn Ross Lowery. Five brothers: James Fleeton, Willie James Fleeton, Steven Fleeton, Victor Hawkins and Calvin Adams. One sister-in-law, Vivian Jones. Three brothers-in-law: Kent Jones, Garren Leonard and Levi (Sandra) Leonard, of Alabama. Father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Leonard. A host of relatives and friends.
