Anita, my Sweet cousin,
You were always kind and loving to me as we were growing up. I thank you for your example of a caring and aware young woman as I was maturing - you commanded respect by your presence and you gave great stability - and even nobility - to our family in our early years.
May your soul and heart rest easy.
In gratitude,
Cousin Michael

I am so sad for her family and myself. This is my first, first cousin to pass. Thinking of all our happy times growing up together, monthly trips to Cal City, listening to Anita play the piano, spending hours talking about our "important" teen things, then standing up at her wedding. I visited her regularly in Chicago and Calif. I am going to miss her so much. All my love to her family.

As a child, visiting Anita and Marty and their parents, Carl and Kate, in their home in Hammond, IN was one of the richest memories of my childhood. Anita was always so kind to me - mature and loving, a wonderful model of an "older cousin" - though she was just 3 years older than me. I shall always hold her in my heart.

Anita, may you rest in eternal peace. Our heartfelt condolences go out to our nephews, David and Jordan and their families on the loss of their beloved mother. My memories of Anita only began in 1970, but Debbie knew her for her lifetime. Words sometimes fail, but thoughts are always with the family.

I am so sad to hear about Anita's passing. She was very kind to me when I moved to Calif in the 80's and I can picture her in her music room, playing piano that she so loved. To Jordan & David my heart is with you and I am thinking of you. To Susan whom I have not met, thank you for putting this together. And to Oliver, it is unfortunate he will not have the memory of Grandma. RIP. Elise

Let's remember Anita from happier times--I'll always think of the birthdays that she & Marty & I shared, my visit to California when the boys were young, the trip Anita & I took up the east coast just before I graduated from law school. There were lots of laughs and lots of love. We send our condolences and love. Myrna & Ed
