My mom was born 12/2/1940 in Brooklyn, N.Y.  She was the first of three children born to Albert & Mary Cataldo. She had a brother named Albert, (aka, Jr.) & a sister named Constance, (aka, Connie). Mom actually spent most of her childhood with her Aunt Anna, her mothers sister. There she grew up with her four cousins, but bonded most with Madeline.  Mom went to Erasmas HS but unfortunately did not graduate. Later in life she did obtain her GED. On 12/6/58, 4 days after her 18th birthday, she married my father, Martin Lovett. On 8/21/61, she gave birth to her first child, me, Beth Ann & on 8/11/64, her second child, Martin jr. was born. Aside from being a housewife and mother she worked as a nurses aide n on the election board. In the late 1970s she began working as a purchasing clerk for the NYC Health and Hospital Corp, Kings County Hospital. At the time of her retirement she had worked her way up to a Civil Servant Employee/Senior Buyer. She loved her job n took great pride in her work. However aside from her loving and devoted husband of 48 yrs, her greatest joy in life were her 6 grandchildren, Christina, Tara, Marty, Danny, Kevin , Matthew and her great granddaughter, Nicolette.
