On July 3rd, 1956 a seed was planted and thus began the life of Mr. Joseph Behakanira. Born to late Raphael Byempaka and his lovely wife Catherine Kabwanga, he grew up in a small village called Kitashekwa, Kakukuru in Ruhaama.

Behakanira was a man who led a humble but fruitful life. Success always came his way most likely because he loved God and Mother Mary. In whatever he did, God and Mother Mary always took precedence.

He left  behind Goodra the wife, Maurice the son, Rosemary, Precious and Josemaria the daughters, William the grandson that he never got to see, Angel and Alma the granddaughters and  host of other relatives and friends.
