Mr. Billy Ray Hatcher was born on December 21,1956 in Tallapoosa County to the late Ms. Alice Hatcher and Mr. Floyd Pitts.

Billy was a graduate of Dadeville High School Class of 1975. He was also a graduate of Alex City Community College, Southern Union Community College, Auburn University in Montgomery AL and Auburn, AL. He received several awards and certificates for the many accomplishments in his life. His greatest accomplishment was pastoring.

He loved to teach and preach God's word. He pastored at Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Dadeville, AL, Shady Grove Baptist Church in Jackson Gap, AL, and Elam #2 in Alex City, AL'

Billy accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and join Sardis Baptist Church.

He was employed with KwangSung America.
