Blanche Wilkins Sadler, 82, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Maria Parham Hospital.
Blanche was born January 7, 1936 in Granville County to the late Cal and Mary Wilkins. She graduated in 1953 from Oxford High School. Blanche was a member of West Oxford Baptist Church. She worked as a cashier for Colonial Grocery Store for over twenty years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 3, 2018 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff Hensley. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter, Vickie Sadler Watkins of Oxford, her son, Barry Sadler (Cindy) of Oxford; three granddaughters, Dayna Watkins, Alyssa Sadler and Adison Sadler; two grandsons, Nolan Watkins and Andrew Sadler; her sister, Helen Pegg (Jack) of Kernersville, and her brother, Calvin Wilkins of Durham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Compton Sadler, infant daughter, Janice Sadler, and her brother, Raymond Wilkins.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service Sunday, June 3,2018 from 1:30 – 2:45 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
