Mrs. Clarice Reid Harper was born on December 18, 1949 in West Point, Georgia to the late Jessie Mae Wright Reid and Willie Reid, Sr. Clarice was one of three siblings, of whom one; Willie Reid, Jr. preceded her in death. Her husband, Bobby Harper, and her grandparents, Jesse and Lela Mae Wright, also preceded her in death.

Clarice Reid – Harper confessed Christ at an early age while attending Love Union and later join St. John Baptist Church were she was a faithful active member.

She was a 1967 graduated of Harrison High School and received her B.S. degree from The Albany State University in Albany Georgia.

Clarice was initiated into the Lambda Zeta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was a dedicated, loyal supportive person always willing and commitment to servicing others in any capabilities.

Most importantly, she was family oriented and cared deeply for her family. Clarice’s memories will be cherished by her loving brother, Leon (Jackie) Reid of Lanett, AL; her four loving and devoted nieces, which she reared as her very own children including: Corinthian (Tony) Tate of Daphne, AL, Carla (Alvin) Jackson of Lanett, AL, Veleria Reid of Opelika, AL, and Marshonntri Reid of LaGrange, GA; special nephews, Kenneth (Valeria) Reid, Sr. and children: Trenese, Kennara, and KJ, Jesse (Alicia) Reid and children: Jessica and Jesse all of Miramar FL, and Ken (Phebe) Warner of Valley, AL; one special sister in law, Evangelist Lucy A. Reid of Pembroke Pines, FL; special aunts, Carrie Wright of Birmingham, AL, Ida Murray of College Park, GA, Annie Pearl McCullough of Lanett, AL, Addie McCurtis of Atlanta, GA; one special uncle, John E. Reid of Charlotte, NC; a caring great – great aunt Lucille James of Philadelphia, PA; 5 sisters, 3 brothers; 2 sister in laws, and 4 brother in laws; a special sister and collegiate friend, Mary Mildred Osoh of Columbus, GA; and numerous of loving and caring cousins and friends.
