Clyde Jackson Newcomb, 78, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his home.

A native of Pamplin, Virginia the son of the late Andrew Jackson Newcomb and Flossie Grady. He was of the Baptist faith and manager of the Southern ABC Store in Butner.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor Rev. Johnny Holmes. Burial will be private.

Surviving are his daughter, Tonya Newcomb Morgan of Creedmoor; two sons, Tony Newcomb of Wake Forest, Tyrone Castaldi (Debbie) of California; a sister, Burnell McFalls of Oxford; two granddaughters and four grandsons. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy King and three brothers, Buddy Lee Newcomb, Frank Newcomb and Andrew Newcomb.
