Mrs. Cora Sue Welch Kirk, 68, a resident of 589 Shuler Road, died Friday evening, March 30, 2012 in the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. She was born April 10, 1943 in Guilford County, a daughter of Joseph Grayson Welch and Mildred Cross Welch. She was a retired employee with Celand Yarn Dyers, Inc. Mrs. Kirk was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Kernersville. On March 9, 1960 she was married to Charles Kirk, who survives of the home. Also surviving are sons, Grayson Kirk of Wilmington and Scott Kirk of Thomasville; a grandson, Nathan Kirk; special niece, Janet Myers of Archdale; two brothers; a sister; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2 P.M. in Trinity Memorial United Methodist Church in Trinity, N.C. The family will receive friends following the service.
