I remember wonderful, warm, full Christmas celebrations with David and Betsy when I was younger growing up across the street from the family. I looked forward to those festivities that David made so special! Sending love and sympathies to the family.

David was a mentor and extremely helpful to me at the start of my career. I will always remember him with great fondness: his "joie de vivre", love of traveling, appreciation of fine food, drink and the arts, his energy, his adoration of his children.... My prayers and condolences go out to his friends and family.

What I love about this photo is our Dad was already so sick but he would not let that get in the way of him enjoying our family, the beach, the restaurants, etc. This picture, to me, shows his spirit.
