David, you always had a smile and something nice to say! I know you were looking forward to retirement and life ahead. I'm so sorry you missed it, but reading your story tells me how loved you were! You will be missed!

When I heard about Mr. Rhame's passing, I was heart broken. Even though I didn't exactly know him on an extremely personal level, he managed to touch my heart. Mr. Rhame was such a kind-hearted and forgiving man. I will definitely miss seeing him come into Publix to buy bunny food. And I will always remember the days in drama club with him. Rest in peace.

David... missing you and the rest of my family from JMS. I am sorry that we did not get to share more time since last May. You touched so many lives as a member of Jefferson's science department. Those kids loved you and your department and faculty members appreciated your kindness, frankness, and friendliness. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

David, my friend and colleague. Words cannot express how saddened I am at your untimely departure. I remember fondly the times we shared in the lunch room, science teacher meetings and most of all the many years we worked with the Drama club at Jefferson. Thank you so much for being a part of my life. May your soul rest in peace, and eternally in the presence of our Heavenly Father.

I was in the drama program with him at jefferson and ran into him a couple times when he came into publix. he was a very funny loving man. mr. Rhame was very undersanding and let the kids create their own visions, New York was a great experience I never realized how funny he was until that day. Mr. Rhame you will be sorly missed, and you really touched my heart. And im sure many others.

David was a funny, gentle, kind man who always had a smile and a kind word for me. He will be missed by his JMS students and co-workers. Theresa - I loved reading his life story and I hope you find comfort in those wonderful memories.

First met David as a Ref for County Football, then as my co-worker and friend.. I remember bringing in a bunch of baby bunnies and he fell in love with one and took it home to his wife. We would talk about that bunny all the time. David take care of gods creatures up there and watch over us..

I was in shock when I heard of Mr. Rhames passing. He is gone way too soon, and will be missed by so many. I have fond memories of him from the Drama Club at Jefferson Middle school, and from our group trip to New York City in 2008. He was a great man, and you all will be my thoughts and prayers!

I'm still in shock Mr. Rhame is gone. He was such an awesome teacher, and an even better person. I'll always remember me, Joey, Dylan and Travis going into his class during lunch asking if we could use his spare computers. It was very rare for him to say no lol. He was that kind if guy, and will be missed. RIP Mr. Rhame, don't worry about the computer thing anymore, I have an iPhone now :)
