His Life
April 28, 2011

David was married to the former JoAnne Rumore Tincher. He was "the best dad
ever" to his beloved children, Courtney Lane Tincher, Joshua David Tincher and
Whitney Paige Tincher, all of Williamson. He was also the grandfather of two
grandsons whom he loved with all of his heart, Caleb Daniel and Corey Michael
Rogers.

David was a 1967 graduate of Williamson High School and a graduate of Marshall
University.

He was a retired police officer with the Williamson Police Department having
faithfully served the citizens of Williamson for twenty years. David was a
qualified marksman.

After retirement, David became involved as an assistant coach with the
Williamson High School and Williamson Middle School football, basketball and
tennis teams. He was a sports enthusiast and he loved working with the teams.
The school children were very important to David. He wanted the students to
succeed in their chosen sport and more importantly, he wanted them to enjoy
happy and successful lives. David’s absence from the sideline will be sorely
felt as the Williamson High School football team opens the 2009-2010 season next
week. No doubt about it, Coach Tincher will have the best seat in the sky box
this season.

David was a member of the R. A. West Fundamental Christian Church.

In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, David is survived by two
loving sisters, Chris (Rudy) Slater of Williamson and Linda Harlow of
Williamson; his mother-in-law, Evia Rumore; brothers-in-law, Joseph Rumore of
Chattaroy, George (Brenda) Rumore of Springfield, Va., and Charles Rumore of
Pinellas Park, Fla., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family
members and dear friends.
