Her Life

Deborah Ann Amey was born July 11, 1959 to the Late Wilson Amey Sr. and Marcella GrierAmey.  She was the fifth child of five children.  She graduated from the Greenville High School.  She joined the Fellowship Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend E. J. O’Neal.  After finishing high school, she joined the Army and her rank was MP, which she loved dearly.  She worked different jobs and security officers.  She was a loving and caring person and her faith was strong in the Lord.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marcella Grier Amey, father, Wilson Amey, Sr. and two brothers, Alvin Thrash and Irvin Amey.

 

She leaves to cherish her passing, Josephine Peterson of LaGrange, GA, Lurlene Partridge of LaGrange, GA, Wilson Amey Jr. of LaGrange, GA, Larry D. Amey of Greenville, GA, Barbara Amey of East Point, GA, SammuelAmey of Palmetto, GA, Sandra Amey of Hogansville, GA, Betty Harris of Gay, GA, and Harry Rosser of Gay, GA; three aunts, and three uncles,Willie Mae Parks of Luthersville, GA, Barbara Miller of Detroit, MI, Ethel Mae Williams of Detriot, MI, Edward Amey of Luthersville, GA, Joe Lewis Grier of Detroit, MI, and Gaston Grier of Detroit, MI; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law; and a host of relatives and friends.
