Mrs. Doris Rosser-Jackson was born on March 27, 1931 to the late Harry and Mary Rosser in Troup County.

God called his child home on June 9, 2013 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She joined St. Bethel Baptist Church at an early age.

She worked at Royal Lane Nursing Home and housekeeping for 35 years. She loved to fish, sing, and travel to yard sales.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carrie Mae; sisters,
Mattie, Lillian, Carrie (Big Ma), and Nettie B.; brothers, Roy, Clarence,
Willie, and John Thomas; grandsons, Montavius and Casual; stepson,
Melvin Jackson and husband, John C. Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: eleven children, Charlie Ed
Rosser, JoAnn Rosser, Carolyn McCrary (Henry), Jerry Rosser, Wanda
Rosser, Betty Boyd (Gilbert), David Rosser (Jacqueline), Hilda Jackson,
Willie Jackson, Eva Brown (Jack), and Angie Goodwin (William); two
brothers, Willie B. Rosser and Harry Rosser; one son-in-law, Roger
House; two stepchildren, Sever Glover and Lucy Kate Dallas; 28 grandchildren;
42 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; a special
dear friend, Jessie Roy Gate, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends.
