Mrs. Dorothy Ann Parker Winston, the daughter of the late John Brown and the late Carrie Parker, was born September 21, 1949 in Meriwether County, GA.  She departed this life April 10, 2013 at Lanier Health Services.

Dorothy attended the Meriwether County Schools.

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.  In later years she united with the St. John Baptist Church, Lanett, AL, where she remained a faithful member until her death.

She was employed in the textile industry for many years.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Winston.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted husband of 42 years, Franklin, Winston, Lanett, AL; a daughter, Sabrina(Credic) Brunson, Montgomery, AL; a son, Franklin Winston, Jr., Lanett, AL;  three granddaughters, Ashlee Winston, Jabriellya Winston, and Gabrielle Brunson; four grandsons, Javontae Winston, Jaquantez Winston, Emanuelle Brunson, and Isaiah Brunson; one sisters, Josephine(Darrell)Washington, Fairburn, GA; one brother, Joseph Parker, Concord, GA; sister-in-law, Ruby Parker, Gay, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
