Mom Edna miss you so much. You were always there for us. The day we laid you to rest there was a dragonfly that just kept flying all around us and your grave. I kept watching it as it flew from flower to flower and landing on your grave marker. Turn to the others that were still there and told them ok guys when you see a dragonflies that it was you. You like to watch the birds in your yard. When we were growing up we sit a many hours watching the birds and butterflies in your yard. The red bird (cardinal) was your favorite. We watch the butterflies going from flower to flower. We even tried to catch a few which wasn't easy. Saw a few dragonflies dart back and forth. Not knowing at the time that someday down life's road that you would send them to remind me of you. Sunday after you were laid to rest I needed to come visit your grave. What did we see on the drive back. You know butterflies dancing down the road beside us. There were wildflowers alone the the way and there they dance. There was one yellow one that was dancing all around it would go on down the road ahead of us and come back. It was like come on your driving to slow. (You know me I like to ride around in the country slowly looking in the woods.) As we were getting to the end of the road to turn to go back home that one little yellow butterfly turn to. It was like it was going home with us. It was so amazing. Every day I see the red birds in my yard. There has been a dragonfly darting about. I just tell them that I see you mom Edna thank you keep coming I still need you. I love you and miss you. Thank you for being the best grandma. I will be watching for you in the red birds, butterflies and the dragonflies.
