My Grandma Ella was one of thee most important people in this world to me. Her death was such a blow to us all but in the end I accept her passing with tears and heartache knowing she was ready to go. I can remember being at the hospital with her and giving her water on a sponge to wet her mouth so she would be more comfortable. She always made me comfortable growing up when I didn't feel well. So I had the honor of doing the same for her. It brings me peace to know that she is no longer suffering or in any pain. I miss her more than words can say and I wait for her everynight to come to me in my dreams... Within in my dreams I can see the way I will always remember Grandma. In her rocking chair. Whenever one of us grandkids or kids didn't feel well she would rock us on her lap either until we were comfortable or asleep. I have been blessed with being able to have her rocking chair to comfort and rock my own children in my Grandma's memory. That rocking chair is a part of her legacy. I will always feel her the most there. She was thee most wonderful, strong, bright, happy woman I knew. I will forever and always miss her. I know she is better now and with other loved ones who have passed on. I keep her love alive within me with my memories of her and always will.
