Condolences to the Aiken family. Sorry for your loss. She was a sweet friend I remember from my school days. She will be missed.
Everlena Aiken Vanhook, 75, a native of Granville County, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Roman Eagle Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Danville, Virginia.
She was the widow of Byrd Vanhook, and the daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Walters Aiken. She was a member of Tally Ho Baptist Church and worked in the medical field for many years.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford by Rev. Gary Brummitt.
Surviving are a niece, Angela Aiken Tillotson of Clarksville and a nephew, James K. Aiken of Henderson.
Visitation will follow the graveside service and at other times at the home of her niece, Angela Aiken Tillotson.
