My Dad  Was Born In Carluke On 12/10/1932 his Father Was Daniel Mclellan His Mother Was Mary Dingwall-Barr Mclellan He Had 3 Brothers and 1 Sister As far As I Belive His first job was as a bakers van man he went on to driving buses for strathclyde transport  and on to lorry driving he was was married to Jean with whom he had 4 Children Ishbell ,Ian, Christine and Ronnie he went on to work in the plant hire industry He met My Mum Marie In Newtonmore  in 1977 in 1979 They had Myself Freda after being laid off from the plant hire buisness he worked doing lunches for old people at  St Martins Church In The Hilltown Area in Dundee Where My  Mum and Dad  Had Settled When I Was Around 18 months old after St Martins he worked for Breadline Bakery for several years then onto Riverside Services Filling Condom Machines which got a few giggles with his middle name being Sheath as weell as all this he served with The Cameronians (scottish Rifles) Untill it's disbandment in 1968 he was a real gentlleman and made everyone laugh he loved his country music and going to clubs and dressing up  his shooting name was Catman he got that from his Planthire days as he worked on the catteplilars  he even spent his 80th Birthday in Country Style At Broncos Country & Western Festival in Kelso and also when him and my mum got married  23 years ago it was also country style  he took ill in september 2013 and needed an operation he went home to get strong enough for it  but was rushed back in  5 weeks later the operation was planned  but on the day  the doctors told us he was too weak and there was nothing more they could do only give him pallitive care he demanded to go home to die he got his wish and got home on thursday 14th november 2013 and sadly passed away 2 days later on saturday morning of the 16th november 2013 he will be sadly missed by his Wife Marie all his children,grandchildren and great grandchildren and freinds
