This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Funmi AJIBADE-FASHINA, 48 years old, born on February 23, 1964, and passed away on March 18, 2012. We will remember her forever.
Dear sister. Sometimes remember your smile which makes me happy. Your generosity and grace. Sleep well and remain in Jehovah's memory. Missing you always
“God chose you first and even though it caused us great pain and we feel very sad for your departure, we know that you are now in a better place. We are the rememberers. The people left behind to keep the one who’s gone from use alive in heart and mind. The people left to cherish and preserve a legacy. Yes, we are the rememberers and we will always be. I like to think you are looking down on us especially today which is very special because aunty Funmi, today is your (53rd) birthday. I hope the angels are singing and you are celebrating in big style but, take a moment from your celestial celebrations to spend with us looking down for awhile. Happy birthday dear sister. Fondest memory.
Gone but cant be forgotten you contributed immensely into the jinadu Bombata Fashina family..your beautiful smile ever constant in all the meetings I have had with you left a huge foot print in my head.
Aunty Funmi, you would have added another milestone today but Allah knows best. May the Angels sing to you the most joyous chorus of "Happy Birthday in Heaven" today. Rest Peacefully.
I can not believe it 2 years already that you left us i know my brtoher is taking it one step ' a time but please always look after him and the kids.It still pains me that i did not see you before you left still miss the jokes we use to share but God know best sleep well with the Lord.
"God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best." RIP
For every life has a purpose to fill, a purpose which us humans can seldom infer. But she was a gift from heaven, whose purpose was to make this world understand what love, friendship, goodness, and humbleness was all about. Goodness belongs to heaven, and I know she is watching us from there, bestowing her beautiful smile upon us. May her soul rest in peace.
