Obituary by Tony Bunts

Gale Janet Morgan Bunts left a hole in our hearts when she passed away February 17, 2012. Born November 23, 1942 in Hawthorne, CA to Orin and Martha Morgan (predeceased) she was raised in Deming, NM on her parents farm. As a young woman she was a citizen of the world attending colleges in NM, TX & CA. She was selected to train in Johnson’s War on Poverty as a high school graduate, the only non-masters degree attendee in the first national group chosen to train at Berkley. She went on to work in the fields of adult & child protective services for 35 years.

During her working years she raised three children, obtained a bachelors degree from New York University and a MSW from Arizona State University.  She was a licensed social worker and held many distinctions in the Social Work Field. She helped to mange a farm in San Simon, Arizona for 12 years. She also held a real estate license and helped her husband manage a real estate company.

Gale is survived by her husband Tony of Tucson, her daughter Kimberly of Dubai, UAE, her son Martin of White, Pass, WA and her daughter Windy O’Malley (Erin) of Los Angeles, CA, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, her sister Carol Wingo (John) of Alto, NM, 9 cousins that were raised as siblings and in-law siblings that gave her the honor and love of a matriarch.

Her light shines on and we all can bask in it for the rest of our lives .
