Cleveland boat tour

August 4, 2014

This was a small boat tour on the river.  We kind of had to force her to go with us. It was nice to do something different and spend a couple of hours out on the water.

Stephanie's poem

August 3, 2014

Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you
till we meet again.
Please, won't you catch a shooting star for me,
and take it with you on your way?
Though it seems like we just met
You're  the one I wont forget.
A thousand words wont bring you back.
I know because I tried.
Neither will a million tears.
I know because I've cried.
You never said "I'm leaving"
You never said "goodbye"
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could save you,
you never would've died.
In life I  loved you dearly,
in death I love you still.
It broke my heart to lose you Grandma,
but you didnt go alone,
for part of me went with you
the day God took you home
