This memorial website was created in memory of our beloved Gita Farhat. Her funeral in Lebanon was Jan. 2, 2015 at St. Antonios Church in Kafarchima, Lebanon. Her memorial service in Seattle was Jan. 4.

One of my fondest childhood memories was when we visited Aunt Gita's beautiful house in Kafarchima. My siblings, cousins, and I would play outside for hours. Afterwards, we would get back in the house for a huge spread put on by Aunt Gita. She was so kind, generous, and loving. We will miss you...

Today, on this first day of the year 2015, we received the shocking news of our mother Gita departure into the hands of our Creator, The Lord has given us a one of a kind, humble, loving, caring and passionate mom, and He takes into his glory; thy kingdom come, thy will be done this wonderful mother, praise to you Lord for this gift that we dearly loved from the bottom of our heart, until we meet again your memory will be engraved within us forever and ever, we thank you.
