Gregory Smart was born on May 26, 1965 to Carolyn Matthews and the late Willie Lee Matthews

Greg confessed to Christ at an early age and was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Dadeville, Al

He received his education from Dadeville High School.

Greg was preceeded in death  by his father, Willie Lee Matthews grandmother, Mammie Jo Giles, aunts,  Stella Mae Blackwell, Brenda Faye Giles, uncles, Carl Giles and Calvin Smart.

He leaves to Cherish his memories: a beloved mother, Carolyn Matthews, three brothers,  Leon Matthews, of Springville, Al, Eric Campbell and Ferlando Campbell of Jacksons Gap, Al, one sister Leslie(Darrell)Marbury of  Jackson Gap, Al,      five aunts Juanita(Phillip)Mitchell  of Opelika, Al, Pamela Crayton, Nancy(Luke)Morgan, Mammie Jefferson and a special aunt Denise(Wayne)Harrison  all of Dadeville, Al, Four uncles Ronnie Giles, Michael Stowes, Stanley Giles and  Craig Blackwell all of Dadeville, Al, two great uncles, Jerry(MaryLou)Smart, Bobby(Arwitha)Smart

A  special  friend  Felica Walker  and  five lovely god  children, Darius Walker,  of Jacksonville, Al, Jeremy,  Barkesia, Marquita and  Shaquon   Walker  all  of  Dadeville,  Al  a  host  of  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
