Loving and Missing Mom

May 3, 2013

We all loved her and enjoyed doing things with and for her.  She was so protective.  No doctor or nurse could do what she wanted them to do for us.  I remember when I was getting my Ph.D., and Richard was out of town, she stayed right in the lab with me until I finished for that night.  We then went to a hotel and spent the rest of the morning.  She was so supportive of all our endeavors.  We used to dress a like on fourth Sundays.  We were both Mother and Deaconess.  She would want to go to church so bad until she would run her blood pressure up.  I would sometimes have to wait until she settled down.  I remember my husband and brother used to get her out of the car and she would be afraid that they were going to drop her.  Lord, I truly miss her as all of us do.  There is nothing in my life that I do that I am not reminded of her.  She was truly our blessing!  I remember she would always want Richard to come so she could get him to sneak her what she wasn't suppose to have.  She depended upon each of her children for something different.  She had all of us earmarked including Linda Sue and Rev. Ford.  Oh yes, she knew just what to do and we loved her for it.  As Chris said, she would get you straight.  Love you MOM and I know what you are saying, "LOVE YOU MORE."  Eternal Love
