Harry was born to Alfred Boyd, Sr., and Lillian (nee Clark) Boyd on October 31, 1953. Harry was also predeceased by a brother, Larry Boyd, in 2009. He is survived by his companion of 28 years, Patty Decker, of Sussex; his daughter, Hope Howey and husband, Carl, Jr., of Sussex; his daughter, Jennifer Hall of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania; his daughter, Kelly Boyd of Portland, Oregon; three brothers, Billy Boyd, Gerry Boyd, and Alfred "Al" Boyd, all of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Brittani Vanderhoff, Matthew Boyd-Howey, Robert Vanderhoff, Joseph Vanderhoff, Blake Vanderhoff and Arielle Hall; a great-grandson, Jordan Perkins; and many nieces and nephews. Harry's hobbies were fishing,bowling,camping,working,spending time with his grandchildren and his companion. He also loved sitting around the fires in the summer and he loved playing phase 10, which those who played with him thought he cheated because he always won. Harry was diagnosed with COPD in Febuary 2016 shortly after valentines day. On May 9 2016 Harry lost his battle to COPD and he went to home with The Lord.
