Mrs. Spradlin was born, Friday, July 16, 1920, in Chambers County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Fred Nance and Pauline Rodgers Douglas. She was a member of Reeds Chapel Baptist Church and a member of the Joy Club there. Mrs. Spradlin retired from Lanett Mill of West Point Pepperell after 20 years of service.

Survivors in clued her daughter, Diana Clegg Antone of Jacksonville, Florida; her sons, Douglas Reed (Deb) Spradlin of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Gerald Wayne (Cindy) Spradlin of LaGrange; her brother; Gene Douglas of Lanett; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
